Pastor: Frank Termine
"My passion is to see people come to Jesus Christ as their Savior and then to help them grow closer to Him on a daily basis. I love to see people take their Next Step in their Christianity. I strive to teach the Bible (what God has to say to us), not teach from the Bible (use the text to prove what I want to say). Part of my preaching style is to teach you how to study the Bible for yourself and to become a Berean (Acts 17:11). I study to learn more about the Bible so I can teach it, but I also spend a lot of time meeting people and reading about life today so my preaching can be relevant to your daily life challenges."
Frank Termine began as our Pastor in December, 2007. Pastor Frank previously served at Fishkill Baptist Church from 2003-2007. He graduated from Biblical Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity Degree in May, 2003.
Prior to becoming a pastor, Pastor Frank was a successful businessman in the chemical water treatment business. He served in various positions, including several Vice President positions in a Fortune 500 Company. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University and an MBA in Marketing from Temple University. "Although I grew up in Rochester, NY, I spent the majority of my life in the Philadelphia where I became and remain a die-hard Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers fan, and an occasional 76-ers fan. I am now a die-hard University of Hartford fan first and UConn fan second."
Pastor Frank has been married to Karen since 1977. They have three adult daughters, Christi (married to Pastor Floyd Hughes), Jacqueline (now maried to another Frank), and Desiree.
Pastor Frank enjoys sports and hiking and camping with his family.
Director of Children's Ministry: Rachel Parker
Rachel Parker has a desire for children to know in their heads, feel in their hearts, and act with their hands upon the love of Jesus; and for the Church to equip families to disciple and raise their children. She has a BA in Sociocultural Studies from Bethel University, Minnesota.
Rachel has been married to Jonathan since 2001 and together they have four young children. Prior to moving to Connecticut in 2014, Rachel and Jonathan lived in Boston for 13 years where they were active in their church, their urban neighborhood, and several parachurch ministries.
She enjoys gardening, playing the piano, playing games, cooking, and filling the dining room table and back yard with family, friends, and neighbors.

(860) 236-1245 x 104
Nate Brown has been involved in church music since he was in junior high school, and has been at Calvary since the Spring of 2011. Primarily a composer, he plays several instruments and sings. Before coming to Calvary, he served as interim orchestra director at Valley Community Baptist Church in Avon. He has also been involved in music ministry at STORM Camp in Minnesota and at churches in Minnesota, Illinois and Oregon.
Nate holds three degrees in music composition: a Bachelor's from Wheaton College in Illinois, where he played trombone in several ensembles; a Master's from the University of Oregon, where he played bass trombone in the University Symphony, tenor trombone in the Oregon Jazz Ensemble, and several instruments in the Pacific Rim Gamelan; and a Doctorate from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford, where he currently teaches music theory as an adjunct instructor.

Nate played offensive tackle on the football team while he attended Wheaton College. When not working at Calvary or Hartt, Nate spends his time with his wife, Keira, and son, Franklin. He enjoys hiking and traveling to scenic and historic places.
